For the kitesurfers, there is an open grassy area to pump up and wash gear, as well as an outdoor shower. A small coastal cottage roughly 5 min drive outside the harbour town of Saldanha. The cottage is private but connects to the side of our home. It is literally on the ocean with spectacular views of the bay and harbour boasting 3km of sandy beach, stretching in either direction. The bedrooms are north facing, catching mid day sun. The cottage falls with in a small private home owners estate, is secure and quaint and is perfect for those wanting to spend their days lazing on the beach.

La Mer offers guests the opportunity to stay right on the beach, close to restaurants. This ideally situated self-catering unit offers the best views of the ocean, the beach and breathtaking sunsets. In case of a power failure, an inverter and back up batteries are installed and we will do our best to ensure that the lights, TV and Wi-Fi are working. This is a developing town and building activity may take place. Unfortunately no children or pets.
