This unique place has a style all its own. Our tiny cabin located on a spacious campground offers everything you need. Equipped with 2 twin beds, TV, AC/Heat, microwave, fridge, a small outdoor dining area, coffee machine and more. This cabin is perfect for couples and small families. The cabin is 18'x10', fully insulated allowing you to camp in the summer and winter. The cabin is a dry cabin; laundry, restroom and shower facility are within walking distance as well as the public pool area.

Toy space-kid friendly. This is a working farm, for your safety we ask that outbuildings are not accessible to guest. There maybe some gravel.

Nature galore! Lower finished basement level of our home - private, contactless stairway entrance. We can be ready on short notice!

Enjoy the best waterfront view in town with access to a hammock, wifi, hanging swing, porch swing, bbq grill, huge yard, and giant concrete patio all looking up river! There’s a Bald Eagle that often perches in a nearby waterfront tree looking for fish. If you’re patient enough, you can see him swoop down and grab one! A train does pass by a couple of blocks away on occasion and sounds its horn, so light sleepers may need a white noise app or provided fan. Non smoking/clean air property.

Tiny Cabin on the Farm

Welcome to our cozy cabin! We are just off I-29 in northern Missouri between St. Joseph and Platte City.  Our property is 21 acres and includes a yard of 6 acres and fields and a wooded area. There is a kitchenette with the necessary essentials and a small bath with a shower, sink and toilet. There is NO Wi-Fi so you can unplug and relax; however, we do have good cell phone signals. * If you are a traveling nurse with a contract, contact us and we can work with you on your stay length. *

**UPDATE**At this time there is NO water in the Lake, they’re digging it out to make it deeper. Featuring 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. House sleeps 8 people comfortably. Dogs are allowed but limited to 2 dogs per stay. There is a fenced front yard for dogs to roam around and play. There is a pet fee. You will be responsible for any pet clean ups in the yard. The house is perfect for a family friendly stay. No one under 25 year of age can book with us

The Wisteria, Tiny Home Getaway

Experience tiny home living at its best! It is a camping vibe, but has a comfy queen bed in the loft, small futon on main floor, air conditioning and running water. It includes exclusive use of the tiny home and also a lot of room outdoors on the working 10 acre riverfront farm. Lots of sand, grass and open area outside, no wifi. Feel free to bring poles and fish, have bonfires and smores, hangout and enjoy the outdoors at this pet friendly place.

Colonial Home Great for Large Groups

Our home is a large colonial farm home located on five picturesque acres and surrounded by hundreds of acres of farm land. Located 20 miles north of the KCI Airport between Kansas City and St. Joseph, MO, one has access to all the attractions and activities in both cities and everywhere in between. Absolutely NO parties or events allowed without owner approval. Weddings at The Journey Home Event Venue cannot be booked via Airbnb.
