Bare Bones a Cassel Home

Turn of the Century home, original wood work. Three bedrooms, 2 king size beds, and one queen size bed, and a futon in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and a pull out bed/couch in the living room. This house is two stories with the bedrooms on the 2nd level. Two bathrooms, one on the main level with shower only, the 2nd bathroom is on the 2nd floor and has a jet massage tub only. I charge per person per night. Please declare all guests. Extra charge for early, late check ins and late checkouts.

Experience small town life in "The Loft" apartment

We are the Oliva family, & "The Loft" is a culmination of all of our efforts, but must give credit to my husband and father of our 2 adult sons. After 2+ yrs of trips back & forth from AZ to create our "home away from home", it is finally complete. We always enjoy our stay, but decided we would like others to enjoy it too when we can't. With that being said , we are hopeful that you will respect our property and belongings during your stay, but make yourself at home!

Historic Stephens House

Our house is being restored with respect for it's historic significance to the College Hill District, Burlington & Missouri Railroad and Saline County. Frank Stephens built this home in 1883. He was the founder of Crete Nuseries which populated the county with trees. The house has served many families and many purposes in nearly 140 years. We are happy to share a piece of that history with our guests! Come sit under our trees!

The house is just the right size for the whole family to enjoy a little space and comfort! Located 1 block from Doane University and a couple blocks from restaurants and fuel. It has a back yard for BBQ’s and hanging out with family and friends or tailgate before a game!
