Round Pond Lodging - Eagle's Nest

This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Perched proudly overlooking the Ohio River stands a time-honored treasure - an original 1906 log cabin. Stepping inside reveals hardwood floors worn smooth by generations of footsteps, while antique windows frame timeless views of the river. This living relic bears quirks and eccentricities - slightly askew walls and floors that breath as the rock foundation moves underfoot, and doors with character. Outside, a new all-seasons porch and new deck add luxury relaxation to the century old cabin.

Tiny Cottage of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Nestled on a wooded hill on the eastern edge of the Shawneetown National Forest, this fully furnished four bedroom/three bathroom home offers a wonderfully quiet space to unwind and disconnect. If seclusion and privacy are what you’re looking for, this is the spot! The area also has plenty of options for food, exploring, and shopping.

We might call this place a hideaway but the nearby activities and amenities are too numerous to list! Enjoy the secluded forest location surrounded by towering trees, abundant wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. NEW IN OCTOBER 2021: We have installed high-speed fiber optic WiFi to the cabin.

Located in mid town, Paducah, this 2 bedroom duplex is centrally located to everything that Paducah has to offer! 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, large eat-in kitchen and a washer and dryer. Stay for a weekend or stay for a week. Close to Baptist Hospital, the mall, and downtown Paducah. Fully equipped kitchen with a full sized refrigerator as well as coffee, tea, snacks and an assortment of soft drinks are available. Close to I-24 so you can pop in and out quickly!

The Paddock at 1208 - Simplicity, Style & Comfort

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles.

The Sunshine Guest House☆ Pool table/pond/yard fun

The Sunshine Guest House is a bright and welcoming home with an easy to find location right outside of Mcleansboro, (6 miles from Big Red Barn& 9 miles from I64) Wi-fi is available throughout our spacious 4 bedroom and 2 baths. Our house can accommodate up to 9 people. It also includes a large deck for outside entertaining with a charcoal grill, yard games, kids toys and stocked pond.
