Additional restaurants are across from the pier- The Pierside ( delicious fine dining), La Galetta Creperie (Yum!), Bear Cost coffee and pastry shop, a coffee and ice cream shop, a small convenience store and gift shop are all there in the pier area. There is a beautiful scenic walking trail right along the beach. It's about a 1 1/2 miles to north beach and about the same distance south to Calafia beach. Our beaches are famous for surfing, body boarding, paddle boarding, & swimming. The beach trail is excellent for a nice morning run.

This cottage is located in the heart of Dana Point, a beautiful and uncongested beach community! A 5 minute walk finds you at the nearby town center and new downtown area where you can find restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. Down the street is Dana Point Harbor/marina and the famous Doheny Beach surfing and park or get-away to Catalina Island or whale watching! The Cottage is a great pet friendly with enclosed front and rear yards, a great alternative to the over priced resorts.
