Lloyd House is located in front of the Saluting Battery which is the ancient ceremonial platform of Valetta from where it continues to this day to shoot guns,blanks (at noon precisely 12:00 and sunset at 16:00), and Upper Barakka Gardens, the most beautiful park in Valletta, created on the bastion of St. Peter and Paul in1661, ex-garden 'suite' of the Italian Knights of St. John, whose residence inn (auberge) is nearby and open to the public in 1824 where you can enjoy stunning views of the Grand Harbour, the ancient cities of Senglea and Vittoriosa, Fort St. Angelo, Fort Ricasoli in Kalkara. Robert, the owner, was born in Malta and speaks Maltese, English, Italian and French will be happy to give you advice and information about places to visit and things to do during your stay, also the restaurants in the area that are worth a visit Listen out for the gun salutes at noon and sunset from the ancient ceremonial platform. Step over to Upper Barakka Gardens, perhaps the most beautiful park in Valletta. From here, there are fine views of the Grand Harbor and nearby ancient cities.

The property is located just a few steps away from the Birgu main square where one would find various restaurants. The property is also 400m away from the Birgu Waterfront, here one would find more restaurants infront of the sea and many more attractions such as a ferry service which leads to Valletta and the 3 cities, the bridge leading to Senglea and most of all the iconic Fort St.Angelo.
