Very unique, authentic, and comfortable Southwest style home with tremendous charm and warmth, 12 miles down San Miguel Canyon from the historic town of Telluride, Colorado. Telluride is home to a world class ski area, two film festivals, several music festivals including Bluegrass in the summer and Chamber Music and Blues Festivals in the Fall. Telluride offers a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife. Sit on the sunny decks or enjoy a fire in one of the 3 Kiva style fireplaces throughout the house in winter or fall. Cook meals on a beautiful six burner stove in a kitchen with a fireplace called The Rio Pecos Cafe. Fifteen minutes to Telluride and a half hour drive to Ouray Hot Springs. There is an on site caretaker who lives in a separate, private soundproof apt on a different level than the main house. He is there if you need him and invisible if you don't.

Our contemporary cabin is located 10 minutes (6 miles) from the town of Telluride. We are 2.7 miles form the Town of Mountain Village Gondola parking structure. The Gondola is a fun, free ride to town. There is also an extensive trail system for hiking, biking and running that can be accessed from within the neighborhood( maps in binder) Please read this before requesting to book, ESPECIALLY if booking during winter months (Nov-April)our property may not be for everyone...

Pet Friendly Getaway Walkable to Downtown Ridgway

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located near everything you want to do in Colorado! Ridgway hosts many excellent restaurants, art, a theater, a park, and concerts, most within walking distance. The duplex is located on a quiet street. We do have a fully fenced backyard for our dog guests to use. Our vacation rental is TV-free to encourage relaxation and connection, we do provide internet access so you can stream on your own devices.

Placerville - Sunny house with big yard, private

We rent out our own home when we are gone. It's a short drive to Telluride, about 12 miles and 18 to 20 minutes to Mountain Village. Ski at Telluride, or enjoy film festivals, music festivals and the Blues Festival. We have fast internet - Starlink. We also have a puppy that's on the property. She does not go upstairs and has never been in the bedrooms (dogs seem to be afraid of the spiral stairs) and has not been on the carpets, but has been in my office.
