Very cozy space, decorated with style and design, with all the amenities you need to relax or even work from home. Fully equipped with machines and appliances you need to live comfortably. Pode acolher 3 pessoas adultas, ou 2 adultos e 2 crianças pequenas , pois na sala existe 1 sofá-cama prático e funcional. Tem disponível máquina de lavar loiça, máquina de lavar roupa, máquina de café expresso da marca Nespresso, micro-ondas, frigorífico inteiro com 3 gavetas de congelador, placa eléctrica e forno, chaleira eléctrica, secador de cabelo. A casa tem um ambiente muito acolhedor, é cheia de luz e está muito confortável e sofisticada ao mesmo tempo. O melhor da casa é o terraço exterior, exclusivo desta casa, cheio de uma natureza verdejante e fresca, com uma óptima exposição solar e uma grande mesa para almoços. A Casa pertence à família que vive na casa ao lado, na Villa Santa Maria, mas a privacidade é total e garantida. A Casa está muito bem localizada, tem muito bons acessos e apesar de estar numa zona muito calma, está perto de muitos locais de interesse ao redor de Lisboa. Pode-se estacionar tranquilamente à porta de casa, 1 ou 2 carros, sem restrições ou limitações. Os hóspedes tem acesso total à casa inteira, a todo o espaço de arrumação existente, e também ao terraço exterior. Estamos totalmente disponíveis para apoiar os nossos hóspedes no que for necessário. Surroundings and Suggestions: Get your GPS ready and plan your day trips to some places suggested below: SINTRA: Start with visiting the neighborhood: São Pedro de Sintra. You will find in “Casa do Preto”, the pastry shop down the road, many new and delicious Portuguese pastries, try the “queijadas”… delicious! There is also another cozy coffee shop: NATÁLIA in a walking distance. You can also find many restaurants, and nice typical places to eat. Go to Sintra town center: is one of those places full of magic and mystery where nature and man have combined in a symbiosis so perfect that UNESCO has classified it as a World Heritage Site. Exotic gardens, lush parklands with centuries-old trees, fantastically decorated palaces, a Moorish castle, older than Europe, small lakes with nooks and fake ruins in the midst of nature are certainly inspiring for a special moment. Sintra is surely one of the most romantic destinations in Portugal, where kings and queens have fallen in love and Which writers and poets, such as Eça de Queiroz and Lord Byron, have recorded for ever in their works. Things to do in Sintra: Have a coffee with the amazing pastry “travesseiro” in Periquita coffee shop. Visit the palace PALÁCIO DA VILA. Visit the house and gardens of QUINTA DA REGALEIRA. Then go up the mountain to another palace PALÁCIO DA PENA and castle CASTELO DOS MOUROS. Get back in the car and go to CONVENTO DOS CAPUCHOS ancient convent in the mountain, then to PENINHA, and finally to Azóia where you can relax in a bar called BAR DO MOINHO. Nearby you can also visit CABO DA ROCA the most western part of Europe. You could carry up north by the coast and pass a beach called ADRAGA with a great seafood restaurant. 3 km after you will find another great beach PRAIA GRANDE. And finally if you carry on you can stop in a small and cute village by the sea AZENHAS DO MAR. Visit CASCAIS and ESTORIL: The house is only 11 km from the cosmopolitan Cascais, with its marina, entertainment, shopping, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, delightful esplanades by the sea, not to mention the buzz of a very active nightlife. Estoril, that has the biggest casino in Europe, is only 9 km away. The beach Guincho, in Cascais, with its surrounding natural park, is highly recommended for beach and water sports activities (as windsurf or kitesurf). Along this coast the choice of beaches is endless and white sandy family beaches are only 15 minutes drive away. The closest beaches are Praia Grande, Guincho and Estoril. LISBON: Portugal´s capital is only 20 to 25 minutes away by car. Heading to the old part of Lisbon you can first get to CHIADO, park the car for the day and start by having a Portuguese expresso in BRASILEIRA or BENARD coffee shops (never miss the pastry PASTEL DE NATA!). Up another hill across downtown you can take a TUK TUK TOUR to get you to the castle CASTELO DE SÃO JORGE and the old city MOURARIA. There are plenty of beautiful churches all around the old part of Lisbon. In BAIXA (downtown) enjoy the great square TERREIRO DO PAÇO, have a walk alongside the RIVER TAGUS all the way to CAIS DO SODRÉ train station stopping for lunch at the nearby market MERCADO DA RIBEIRA. Head back home from Lisbon before rush hour, 5pm is a good time. Just pick one! At Azenhas do Mar beach: Sal or Azenhas do Mar (great sunset view). The last one is more expensive. At Praia das Maçãs: Loureiro or O Búzio. At Praia da Adraga: Praia da Adraga At Praia Grande: Bar do Fundo VII. Useful information: HOSPITAL: If you need to see a doctor or if there is a medical emergency go to the nearest public hospital in Cascais, Hospital de Cascais, about 10 minutes away. GPS coordinates: 38.4347.4,-9.2505. PHARMACY: The closest one is near the local Church, 1km away from the house. Open every day. SUPERMARKETS: Open every day between 7am and 12pm. The closest one is Aldi is just a few roundabouts away on the way to Estoril (9am-9pm). Supercor, more down the same road as Aldi’s (9am-10pm). Then follows Continente in Cascaishopping shopping center (8.30am-11pm Monday to Sunday; 8.30am-12pm Friday and Saturday). Pingo Doce is in Portela de Sintra (in front of Casa do Preto, turn left and go down the road. Once passing through a BP gas station, turn right, then turn on the second road left) SHOPS: Plenty of all sorts of shops in Cascaishopping shopping center, Sintra Retail Park on IC19 road, open every day from 10 am to 23 Pm. Villa Santa Maria guest house is only 20 km from Lisbon International Airport and very easily accessible by car through the main road Lisboa-Sintra (IC19). also by train or bus. A casa foi remodelada recentemente e ampliada com uma construção moderna e de design desfrutando da vista e da envolvente . Vê-se desde o topo da Serra de Sintra, ao Guincho ao Cabo Espichel. A dois passos dos percursos pedestres da Serra de Sintra e dos seus monumentos e junto de bons restaurantes , de cafés com bom ambiente , a pequena aldeia tem supermercado e farmácia para sua tranquilidade. Os hóspedes têm à sua disposição uma casa com 2 quartos, sala e cozinha, totalmente privativa e acesso a um grande jardim com uma piscina infinita onde podem desfrutar da maravilhosa vista. Moro na propriedade e estou disponível para partilhar histórias e informações sobre a região. Adoro ciclismo e conheço a Serra como a palma da minha mão. Posso partilhar os segredos da serra e aconselhar os melhores restaurantes da região. Malveira da Serra, aldeia pitoresca junto a Cascais e Lisboa (20 min), com percursos pedestres na Serra de Sintra e seus monumentos. A Praia do Guincho e as suas dunas selvagens com a sua beleza única, são um paraíso para o Surf/Kite-surf/Windsurf. Aconselho o uso de carro próprio.

A Capela - Converted 18th Century Chapel

Please see our House Rules before enquiries. Unfortunately no outside visitors or events or celebrations are allowed. Thank you. Stay in a beautifully renovated chapel, built in 1789. A Capela offers a private outdoor lounge area for guests’ exclusive use with mountain views of the Moorish Castle. 3 - 5 minutes walk to Sintra Station which is also the main meeting point for most sightseeing tours. We are within easy walking distance to all the beautiful quaint cafes, shops and restaurants.

A Casa da Vila é um agradável primeiro andar, com localização privilegiada no centro da vila de Sintra. Tem terraço com vista deslumbrante até ao mar, espaços verdes e propriedades antigas como o Castelo e Palácio da Vila. Mobilada e equipada com Wi-fi gratuito, ar condicionado na sala e nos quartos. Acesso a Lisboa fácil pois está em frente à estação de comboios de Sintra. Fica a 15 minutos de carro das praias do Concelho de Cascais. Tem estacionamento pago ao lado do prédio do apartamento.

The house has two floors. On the lower floor, there is a living room and dining area. We have a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, induction stovetop, microwave, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso coffee maker. There is also an adjoining room with an American-style refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. There is also a toilet on this floor. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms and one full bathroom with a shower. The house has 90m2 (45m2 per floor) and a 340m2 garden.

Centrally located, we’re just around the corner from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town, and only a 3 minute walk from the train station to Lisbon. There is also free parking on the street in front of the house.
