Named after Marija Braun, the wife of August Braun, an entrepreneur who built the venue across the building that hosts this apartment. The street separating them bears his name. The building (Neboder Željezničarsko-štedne zadruge u Sarajevu) is a national landmark, as it is the first skyscraper in Sarajevo. The last floor used to host a cafe, which you could get to by paying one Dinar to ride the elevator.
