Located in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, next door to the Wayfarer Restaurant and close to the Victoria Hotel. West Royd was historically run as a traditional B&B for over 20 years. Following the retirement of the previous owners, it is now run as a room only Air B&B. There are 3 guest rooms available, each offers an old world Victorian charm with the advantage of all mod cons. Each individual room can be booked separately on Air B&B, this listing is for the Coastal Room only.

The house is secluded and sits within 2.5 acres surrounded by trees. You will have the benefit of a shared breakfast room with complimentary cereals, toast & pastries. Just 5 minutes from the historic town of Whitby, Groves Hall is a haven of tranquillity. Built in 1750,and Grade II Listed it is set in seven acres, with mature and well laid gardens, which take advantage of the views over the Esk Valley and River Esk. The rental is for the East Wing of the house with its own front door. We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 4 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This room is on the first floor and is en-suite. We are near several wedding venues & Bramham Park for events and happy to host families with little children on the sofabed and dogs if they’re ok with our cat? We also have a local taxi minibus for booking. Tadcaster is halfway between Leeds & York with many local historic towns for exploring or a great stopover on longer journeys.
