Whispering Oaks Cabin

My wife and I bought this cabin as a personal weekend retreat. We have been updating the cabin the last year and thought we would like to share it with others. We think we have provided everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. If you like to sit on the front porch in a couple rocking chairs and watch the sunset, we have you covered. If you would like to build a fire in the backyard, we have a 5 foot fire pit with wood provided. Gas grill is provided for your outdoor cooking.

The Lodge at Frederick

A great location for Sportsmen or families. We are 1/4 mile from a boat launch on the Illinois River, 5 miles from Beardstown and the Lincoln Court Room Museum, 15 minutes from Schuy-Rush Lake and 10 minutes from Rushville, Illinois. We have one Queen bed and 2 twin beds. Enjoy a relaxing living space and a fully furnished kitchen. We are still working on some remodeling in the basement area and outside, but the main living space is fully complete. We hope that you'll love it.

My Little Bungalow on Monroe Street.

My Little Bungalow on Monroe is a family friendly, stylish bungalow that is a welcoming space in a peaceful Beardstown neighborhood. Only two blocks from the city square, the Bungalow on Monroe is within easy walking distance of several local eateries, and festival events held in the city square. This two bedroom home is has one queen bed, three twin beds and a daybed. A washer and dryer, as well as a second shower are available in the basement.

Country Star Retreat

Whether you’re looking to get out of the city and find a quiet place to relax, or looking for a “base camp” from which to launch hunting or fishing trips, then Country Star Retreat should be at or near the top of your list. Located off Star Lane near Beardstown, Illinois, this modest three bedroom home is situated on five acres of land, one quarter mile off the roadway and is accessible on an oil/chip paved private lane.

The Little White House by the River

Beardstown's original Airbnb location, our home is called the Little White House by the River, and offers a quiet place to stay that is literally a stone's throw (if you've got a decent arm) from the back waters of the Illinois and Sangamon Rivers. DUE TO MAJOR PLANNED RENOVATIONS, THIS LOCATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AFTER SEPTEMBER 30. 2025.

The Jungle Farm Country Quiet, Town Convenient

The Jungle Farm was a name that described the condition of the property when we acquired it. Even though the jungle is gone, the name is still there. Our place offers all of the quiet of the country along with the convenience of a Walmart directly across the road, and Beardstown's shops, stores, parks and eateries just minutes away.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. This was the Union Baptist Church years ago that we have recently (Dec 2024) made into a rental space! Located on a main road in Beardstown, IL. It offers the perfect space to any hunters, families, and more!
