Return to the simple life. This charming cabin is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Located on a country hill top on a 40 acre property 25 miles north of Kirksville, MO you'll feel miles away from it all. This cabin is the perfect place to relax, unwind, & view the stars. *NOTE: We have another space available in our red barn if you have >5 people who want to hang in a separate apartment w/ bedrooms, living space, bathroom & full kitchen (for an additional price).

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are halfway between Memphis MO in Lancaster, Missouri on Highway 136. Plenty of parking, and outdoor 110v plug for an RV. Feel free to play the guitar in the living room, and relax on the Natuzzi leather sofa, while you watch the sun set out the front windows from the enclosed porch, grill outdoors in the backyard, in late summer to fall, you can enjoy fresh pears from the tree in the back yard. In the little town of Queen City there is a vintage Sears and Roebuck house that will suit your needs! This darling little house was brought in on the train back when the tracks ran through Queen City. It was constructed in the 1950's by a real estate developer and was recently remodeled by us. If you're a small family needing to get away to a safe and cozy place, we have you covered. If you're hunters needing base camp, we are in the middle of the best hunting ground in North East Missouri.

We are only 45min from the Kirksville airport! 3 miles from Whipporwill Acres Wedding Venue! And 25min to Bloomfield iowa,Which is home to lots of Amish stores,It's a fun town to explore! And only 30 Min To Memphis Which has lots of Mennonite stores and restaurants that's worth the drive! Only a short drive to the delicious coffee shop that's on the east side of the square. We also have a neighbor that feeds deer,So we always have deer walk through the back yard in the evenings.

Cousins Airbnb is located on the square in Lancaster, MO. Lancaster was once the home of William P. Hall, known world wide for selling mules and horses. He housed circus animals in huge barns in Lancaster during winter. The apartment is above a small cafe. The private entrance is at the top of an iron staircase in the back The balcony at the top provides a peaceful resting place and view of the town. Parking is located in back, where there is a covered patio for your use.

When traveling through northeast Missouri or southern Iowa, keep it simple at this charming cottage with stunning sunsets. The Cottages at Whippoorwill Acres were newly built in 2025 and are located at the junction of Highways 63 and 136 south of Lancaster, Missouri. Kirksville, MO is located 20 minutes to the south, and Bloomfield, IA is located 25 minutes to the north. We have six cottages on the property that accommodate 1-6 guests each.

All Aboard is a spacious train-themed upstairs 2 BR, 1 Bath furnished apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. It is not ADA compliant. There is plenty of free parking if you are coming to hunt and bringing an off-road vehicle.
