While you are in town be sure and take a drive out to Lake Showme. Whether you’re here to explore or relax, this is the perfect place to unwind.

Dog-friendly ground-floor room, 2 comfy twins

This cozy downstairs room in the Milkweed Mercantile includes two twin beds and is our only dog-friendly room. The room has an exterior entrance and includes access to a shared shower and hassle-free composting toilet in common space just outside your door. The Mercantile is a beautiful strawbale building with solar power, filtered rain water, high speed wifi, as well as air conditioning and fireplace in public spaces. Breakfast can be included for a small fee if arranged in advance.

The upstairs area is shared with two other rooms and includes a bath tub/shower, and hassle-free composting toilet as well as an air conditioned lounge. Breakfast can be included for a small fee if arranged in advance.

Quaint, ecovillage tiny home $35/n +1 time cln fee

Cheapest and quaintest way to visit Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. Adjacent to a pond and greenspace. Full-sized bed with memory foam mattress with CertiPUR-US certified foams. No internet, so enjoy a digital sabbath. Quiet area. Ladder access to second floor, so not suitable for those with limited mobility. Coffee and tea provided. Internet available elsewhere in the village. Humanure human waste compost system a short walk down a path. All power is renewable energy.

The Gnome Dome

The Gnome Dome is located at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, an intentional community of about 50 people focusing on environmentally friendly living. About the Dome: • Tiny. Space to think, sleep, be. • Quaint. Built into a prairie hillock, could just as well be called the hobbit hole! • Comfortable. Wired. Resilient to heat and cold. • Customized. Hand built down to the bed, desk, skylight, stove. Suitable for one adult. No Pets. Please inquire for alternative spots.

Cheerful Home Away From Home

This place will allow you the amenities of staying in a home like setting. You can’t get that at a hotel. Plenty of room, Wi-Fi, laundry, outside deck. One full bath and one half bath. Home Away From Home is how we want you to feel when you are staying here. There is an extra guest fee for every guest over 4. Due to allergies, we ask that you do not bring any pets into the home.
