Spacious, peaceful 1250 sq ft. upper totally self contained suite. The crystal clear Nanaimo river at your doorstep. Spacious kitchen is ready for the family chef but if you don’t feel like cooking the neighborhood offers a variety of pubs and restaurants. Many trails close by for walking or jogging. Only a 10 minute drive to both the airport and B.C. ferries. Pets are permitted only with approval. If you plan on bringing your pet please message me before you book.

This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great solo or couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
