Relax in our quiet stylish guest room If you're looking for a budget friendly visit to rural Hawaii, this might be the place for you. Located in Kalapana - Seaview Estates on the Big Island, our space offers a tropical setting 1 mile to Kehena Beach, and a close drive to Pohoiki hot ponds, a farmer's market, yoga sanctuaries and more. Shopping and restaurants are 20 minutes away in Pahoa, and Hilo is a 45 minute drive. Hilo beaches also have snorkeling. Volcano National Park is a 1 hour drive.

This special vacation home is nestled into a quiet, safe and rural neighborhood adjacent to the magical Red Road, 3 blocks from Kehena Black Sand Beach. Inside, this immaculate home has open vaulted ceilings, modern amenities, tile flooring, wrap-around deck and much more. We are close to Uncle Robert's Farmers Market, and Historic Pahoa Town. Please note that Kehena Beach is clothing optional. There are other small tide pools and hot ponds close by. More beaches are 40 minutes away in Hilo.

Peaceful and private modern retreat in prime location between Kehena Black Sand Beach (.4 mile walk) and nearby thermal ponds at Pohoiki just a few miles down the picturesque and coastal "Red Road." Enjoy a comfortable and clean space surrounded by a lush tropical landscape. Hear the sound of crashing waves from within the stylish interior or spacious lanai. This creative, vibrant area hosts a large drum circle on Sunday nights as well as local music and food down the road at Uncle Roberts.

Come visit Uncle Roberts market every Wednesday night and Saturday morning. Swim Kahena Beach- moments away(clothing optional). Check out the wonderful Maku'u SUNDAY MARKET. Enjoy a night walk under bright starlit skies, listening to the frogs! Our neighborhood is a night sky zone for stargazing. And the full moon shining on the ocean waves is magic.

This newer two story home boosts beautiful ocean views from the Lanai, living room, and master bedroom. It has a master bedroom, bathroom and Kitchen upstairs and a studio with bathroom and laundry privately located downs stairs. It has under roof parking. The home is located in the eclectic community of Kalapana Seaview Estates. Only 3/4 of a mile walk to Kehena black sands beach. Pohoiki beach is about a 10 min drive which is the newly created black sands beach from recent lava flow.

Kehena Beach Ocean Front Cliff House

This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.
