Beachfront Holiday Escape 30 min to Wgtn CBD

Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. Enjoy a relaxed stay in Point Howard, at the start of Eastbourne. Looking for something different? Our beautiful Ian Athfield designed home, has a self-contained annexe with its own entrance. Admire the stunning harbour views that take in the harbour entrance, the Eastern Hills and Wellington City's coastal suburbs. On a fine day the Kaikoura range peaks can be seen. Suitable for 1 or 2 people, the annexe is a lovely space with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Access road is steep and narrow:)

Things to do Walking/running & cycling. (Te Whiti Riser) coffee shops, Mall. (see overview for more) There is a functional kitchen, with oven & all cooking equipment. Own driveway, very safe. The area a is ideal for those needing to work or check in with work. 10 min walk to Woburn train station.

Petone pretty much has it all including a Kmart which is quite literally at the end of the street.

Beautiful quiet "tiny house" garden retreat with mezzanine sleeping loft; very simple but warm and cosy. Carpeted, insulated and double glazed. Sleeps two upstairs on two single mattresses. You need to be agile enough to climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. Own shower and toilet a few metres from the cabin. Heater, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster and basin in cabin. Wifi. Simple breakfast ingredients and hot drinks provided.

Bolton Street Cottage

Located between the beach and Jackson Street this beautifully renovated cottage offers all the comforts of home. Enjoy sitting under the covered deck while you BBQ, or in the sun on the patio.
