Or, better yet, grab a blanket and stargaze on the private patio with propane fireplace and roast marshmallows. Top floor of cottage on the ocean with view across the straits to Nanaimo/Vancouver Island. Short ferry ride from the mainland. Located on the Sunshine Coast with incredible natural attractions and scenery. Ocean access directly in front of cottage. Skookumchuk Rapids is about 1 hour away. Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

My place is close to parks, restaurants and long lake. From here you are less than 10 min from enjoying a day at the beach, or the lake. Downtown Nanaimo is a short drive away. Use this as a home base while exploring Vancouver Island. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). An additional $25 fee per stay will be added for pets this will come as a modification to the rental and needs to be paid before check in.
