From its uniquely designed suspension over top of a creek, lighted boardwalk path through the woods that ramps up to the cabin amongst the trees giving it a true tree-house feel, 3 spacious decks for lounging and enjoying nature and the sounds of the roaring creek beneath you, to luxurious amenities galore inside and out. All in a secluded, private setting minutes from town!

Edifice Rex

Edifice Rex, a 300 square foot studio apartment, is only one mile and less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 yet offers a very bucolic, peaceful setting. Countless cultural, historical and recreational opportunities exist within a 30 mile radius. The James River and Appalachian Trail are but minutes away. The name, "Edifice Rex" is to honor the caretaker on the property, a German Shepard named Rex. You will not have to interact with him ( he wears a radio collar) but he welcomes attention.

This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

Our 1800-square ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, boasts accommodations for up to 8 lucky guests. Walk the property & enjoy our animals, trails & mountains. Enjoy a relaxing campfire, visit a winery, head over to LU or one of our local wedding venues. Make the most of your next VA mountain getaway, at our private guest house! The cottage features beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter Mountains among fields of grazing horses and donkeys. Sunrise and sunset are truly magical hours on Roaring Run Farm.
