Our country home is built for comfort. This is where we bring our kids and our friends to get out of the big city and forget about it all. It is close to what Fouriesburg offers in terms of shopping, so in a town where you never drive far, we walk. Loads of friendly faces, be it the butchery or the pub. The structure is more than a hundred years old, and perfectly preserved. 4 big sunny bedrooms, a large patio, a gorgeous kitchen and a kitted TV room on a plot beset with fruit trees - heaven.

The Rondawel

Come and experience true peace and quiet on a working farm just outside the picturesque town of Fouriesburg. Let your eyes feast on the amazing views and breath in the fresh mountain air. The Rondavel is a place where you can rest, enjoy simplicity and recharge your batteries. A new and tastefully renovated property, tucked away among tall trees, and looking over farm fields on the north side of town. Super private, it is the perfect hideaway spot. Separate driveway entrance and large outdoor living space with brick patio and covered braai area. Beautiful gardens, with trees, grass, flower beds and vineyard. The compact open plan studio design incorporates lounge, dining room and kitchen with upstairs sleeping loft. Clawfoot bath tub and outdoor shower.

Franshoek Farm - The Stables Cottage

The Stables, is a basic and rustic self-catering cottage situated on Franshoek Farm, in the Witterberg Mountains, near Ficksburg. The cottage is located on the sandstone bluff, over-looking a magnificent view of the Valley. As farm stay guests, you enjoy a fully equipped self-catering kitchen which enjoins a central living space with a fireplace. There is a braai and central firepit. Please be advised that the 2 rooms are seperated and not conjoined in the 1 unit.
