It is a very safe area, were you can sit outside till late evening.You can enjoy a barbecue and a glass of red wine next to a wood fire. Animal life on the property is undisturbed.The road to our property is good and suitable for any tipe of vehicle.Only the last 350m is a gravel road,which is good.You can enjoy your farm stay with its quietness.Your parking area is very safe and free. Bring your own fire wood.

This three-bedroomed cottage has two bedrooms with twin beds and a master bedroom with a queen size bed. The unit has two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. This unit also comes with satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace in the lounge and an open hearth in the dining room for indoor barbecue. The Bushman Cottage has spectacular views of red hills, vineyards and river. Six guests can be accommodated in this unit.

"Off-the-grid" stone cottage near Barrydale

Remote and private "off the grid" stone cottage set in the heart of Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve ( just off "Route 62") about 40km from Barrydale. The reserve is well known for it's varied biodiversity and stunning scenery. Accessible with an average car/sedan, however low clearance vehicles will struggle. The Cottage is well equipped, comfortable and completely private. Please note cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk.

The Far Side- Wooden Cabin is a charming cabin offering two cosy rooms, with 1 double and 1 single beds making it an ideal escape for couples, small families, or friends. A Kitchen with a small bar fridge, Gas stove and Oven, Outside is the Firepit a favorite place for guests to chill out and a dinning room space. A basic shower and toilet, all very very rustic and characterful by no means glamping and is priced accordingly.
