Sheffield is a small country town, 55kms west of Christchurch & 40 mins to ChCh airport. Several bigger towns are only 10 -12 minutes away and you’ll be close to many popular attractions : Waimakariri Gorge, Castle hill, Arthur’s Pass , conservation areas, ski fields, lakes, waterfall walks & mountain bike tracks

Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers so no need to worry about food !!

Castle Hill Studio

Castle Hill Studio has everything you need after a day exploring the nearby Ski fields, Craigieburn trails, Cave Stream, and Kura Tawhiti Rocks from your doorstep. Spacious, fully serviced, basement studio with its own private entry, with secure bike or ski storage by arrangement. A Black Diamond Mondo boulderign mat is available for our Bouldering guests to hire. While the studio is spacious, it is best suited to 2 people/ 1 couple. Young children can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Oxford Holiday Cottage (10 acres, Mountain Views!)

Well appointed, self catering cottage in the Canterbury foothills. Set on our 10 acre lifestyle block with our three pet steers and very friendly chickens! Fast wifi! Separate access way, with parking bay at side of cabin. Additional parking is available in adjoining paddock with gate through to alleyway. Cabin has starlink wifi with excellent wifi connection. The cabin is on a lifestyle block, with extensive gardens, orchard, herb garden, sheep, chickens, and hydroponic system.
