Mayar Cottage - 2 bedroom home in central Lerwick

Mayar is located in the heart of Lerwick and is a stones throw from all the town’s restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, parks and walks. The property, which sits within the Lerwick Conservation Area has recently been extensively refurbished. This was completed in January 2021, with modern decor and appliances throughout. Mayar is the perfect spot from which to explore Lerwick without the need for transport. Or as a central base if you are looking to explore all that Shetland has to offer.

Easy walking distance to Tesco and the Clickimin Leisure Complex, with Lerwick town centre only 1.25 miles away. There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.
