Welcome to the Kinsol Cabin! This modern & eco-built cabin is a retreat by the lake. Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts of every kind. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Charlie's Cozy Cabin & Owl Grove Venue

Charlies Cabin is located only a 10 minute drive from the hub of Sooke. It’s built on an acreage with stunning views off of the trails. You’re welcome to walk the trail at the back of the cabin and explore the rear of the property. Charlies Cabin is located alongside Sooke Road. Giving easy access to the main road to drive to nearby restaurants, stores, beaches and more. It's a true cabin feel with accessibility to the roadway. There is also a Fireplace & Outdoor Fire pit.

Located 1.3 miles from the Friday Harbor ferry terminal it offers the convenience of town just around the corner and a bucolic pastoral valley setting and view. It is a great addition for groups that rent the whole Inn, "Juniper Lane Guest House" and want to add an additional dwelling. We have had many happy return guests since opening in 2004! Rustic, artsy, comfortable: set on a beautiful wooded acreage near a stream, this private two-bedroom cabin and studio is located mid-island, just a 10-minute walk to the lake or 5-minute drive to the beach. Simple breakfast items contained in fridge. Two queen beds, sofa-bed, microwave, bathroom with shower, separate toilet room and large deck/patio with BBQ, overlooking the forest. You’ll enjoy quiet sunsets, perhaps the odd storm, relax and recharge.
