Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Stone Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Situated 25m from the main road and walking distance from many delicious restaurants. A Greek-style cottage on the hills of Scarborough, a small seaside village near the Cape Point reserve. Crisp white walls, organic curves, and blue accents nod to the owners' many trips to Greece. The open-plan living space has two indoor fireplaces and an outdoor fireplace on the undercover deck, with sea views and a pool fitted with a safety net. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeping up to 8 -bedroom one has an en-suite and its own fireplace, and the third has built-in bunks for kids.

This is the newest and best kitted out beach bungalow out of the 26 in the private nature reserve of Smitswinkel Bay, near Cape Point. A perfect barefoot holiday spot for reconnecting.
