Island Gateway Anacortes Studio and Sauna

Bright, beautiful studio with full kitchen, coffee bar, private bath and outdoor fire pit. Adjacent outdoor cedar sauna that we share with our guests in both units. Minutes from the Anacortes Ferry Terminal. Note: We live upstairs in a totally separate part of the house and the studio is adjacent to another unit. We have soundproofed the house as well as we can, but there are normal noises that come with shared living. The studio has one queen sized bed. We don't accept children.

Located on beautiful south Fidalgo island, you are 7 minutes to Deception Pass bridge, 13 minutes to downtown Anacortes, and 17 minutes to the ferry terminal to the San Juan islands. Our daylight basement apartment is conveniently located for travelers along the Hwy. 20 on the Cascade Loop. Hiking, fishing, boating, and hunting are nearby. Marblemount, a mile away, has two seasonally (mid-April through Oct.) opened restaurants as well as limited groceries and camping supplies. You’ll love our comfortable 800 sf, 2-bedroom apartment as it was recently completed with brand new flooring, paint, and full kitchen and bathroom. Please ask about pets.

Riverclay Studio is hidden away in the alley just a few steps from the Skagit River. Edgewater Park and many popular restaurants, pubs, espresso and entertainment opportunities are within walking distance. It is reached by way of stairs from the back of the original Riverclay Studio which we once ran as a pottery and gallery and was once our home. Our address is also home to Skagit Valley Larder that operates in the downstairs level of the building.
