Our 5 wilderness cabins are uniquely hand crafted by the owner Angelo with locally and custom built beds, stained glass windows, carvings and themed iron rails. All cabins have water views from your sheltered deck and are footsteps away from a communal cook space. Our central location is a PERFECT start for day tripping around the island and you are just footsteps away from North River Kayak Tours. The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

Step into the Boat House, a beautifully crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Whiskey Mountain Cottage is located just minutes off the beautiful world famous Cabot Trail. This charming one bedroom cottage is situated in beautiful Aspy Bay and is available year round. A new 6 seater hot tub has just been added for guests to enjoy. Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

Sable Point (Priv. HotTub/Out.Shower/Free Kayaks)

Discover what Sable Point Cottage has to offer: a timeless experience in nature that combines comfort & minimalism within one location. The simple, yet upscale layout, is comforting on the eyes & mind. Its adventurous setting, fitted with its unparalleled views, will conjure up excitement when you arrive. A boulder-studded wall rises up towards a stone walkway, which is fitted with an integrated fire pit. The outdoor hot tub & seasonal outdoor shower are located next to the cottage deck.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

The Sleeping Moose Cottage

The Sleeping Moose Cottage is a private, cosy, 600 square feet, well laid out vacation rental for up to 5 people. It is very nicely renovated and completely equipped for you to enjoy a weekend gateway or a longer vacation. Open year round with full electrical heat and a wood stove to heat up the cooler evenings and winter stay's The Sleeping Moose Cottage is located on the same property as the Dancing Moose Cafe (very good Breakfast and lunch) and the Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins.

Just off the famous Cabot Trail, blocks from the sea, though still within town, enjoy quiet and convenience. Wood fired hot tub and pizza oven.
