Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Welcome to our guest house dating back to the 19th century, located in Låstad between Skövde and Mariestad. Experience scenic views with evening sun until the sun sets on the horizon. There are plenty of activities within reach. Child-friendly swimming in the lake Vristulven 4 km away, 25 min to Skara Sommarland, 30 min to Sjötorp Göta kanal, 15 min to Mariestad harbor and lake Vänern. 20-30 min to the mountains Billingen and Kinnnekulle, 20 min to the monastery church built 1150 in Varnhem.

Welcome to our cozy guesthouse on a serene island in the Tidan River, Sweden, with easy road access. Just 25 minutes from Skövde (1h by train to Gothenburg) and Mariestad, it’s perfectly placed for exploring Sweden’s biggest lake, Vänern, and Billingen, a UNESCO Global Geopark offering great skiing in winter. Enjoy birdwatching at Lake Östen on the bird towers near by, stroll through our garden, or unwind in the yoga cottage by the water. The forests nearby offer berries and mushrooms.

Sovrum med dubbelsäng samt två sängar som fälls ut ur soffan. Tjock bäddmadrass.Familj med fler barn kan ta kontakt med värden.Gästen slutstädar.Sänglinnen finns men vid ett dygns hyrning ser vi att gästen har med sig. Annars kostar det 100 kr per säng. Erläggs direkt till värden. Städning kan fås emot 400 kr.Betalas till värden.

Södra flygeln

Välkommen till flygelbyggnaden på Mariebergs Egendom. Här bor du på landsbygden i en lugn och naturnära miljö, med gott om utrymme för en avkopplande vistelse. Boendet har en yta om 125 m² och passar för upp till 6 personer. Huset har ett fullt utrustat kök, sällskapsutrymme, två badrum samt fyra sovrum. Den inglasade uteplatsen i sydvästläge har matplats och grill och bjuder på fin utsikt över det omgivande landskapet, en härlig plats att njuta av lugna kvällar.

Big apartment right by the lake

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the large house with its own entrance. It has three double rooms with room for six overnight guests and a large living room with space for two more. All bedrooms have windows facing the lake. You have access to a private beach with a wood-fired sauna and fishing in the lake. There are also good opportunities for walking, running and cycling tours in the surrounding area and the forest.

Lantlig torpidyll

Här råder stillheten och lugnet, i omgivningar som hämtade ur en Astrid Lindgren-saga. Du bor närmsta granne med åkrar, skog och hagar, vid foten av Kinnekulle. Torpet ligger i direkt anslutning till Vänerleden och 1,5 km bort ansluter Biosfärleden. Närhet till kinnekulles vandringsleder, mountainbike tracks och kulturella sevärdheter. Både Skara Sommarland och Läckö slott ligger inom några mils avstånd.

Historisk kvarngård i Kvissle naturreservat

Anrik gård med ert hus daterat till år 1606, varsamt renoverat till modern standard. Här bor ni mitt i Kvissle naturreservat. Vistelsen här beskrivs av gäster som fantastisk, vacker och rogivande. Ni bor nära naturen med möjlighet att både sola på den privata verandan, simma i sjön, låna båtarna för en fisketur eller hyra kajaker. Det finns även flera sociala djur som älskar uppmärksamhet!

Stuga i natursköna Borgunda

Välkommen till detta fantastiska ställe med massor av plats både inne och ute. Stugan är en flygelbyggnad till vårt bostadshus på vår gård. I den stora trädgården finns grillplats, gungor och lekstuga samt en damm. Stugan ligger med gångavstånd till naturreservat med vandringsleder. I närheten finns också Hornborgasjön, Skara sommarland, historiska Varnhem, Grevagårdens ridcenter mm.

Villa Billingen

Stor modern villa med pool nära Billingens fritidsområde. Njut med familjen på detta vackra ställe på Billingens sluttning med fantastisk utsikt över staden och landskapet runt omkring. Ta ett dopp i poolen efter en dag på Billingens vackra friluftsområde. Vintertid finns Billingebacken samt Billingens längdskidspår som erbjuder både utförsåkning och längdskidåkning av hög klass.
