Shenandoah Cottage at Mattaponi

Built in 2024, the Shenandoah Cottage at Mattaponi Springs sits above the wedding venue and just next door to the golf course. Each king bedroom has its own private bathroom. The common area has a pullout sofa for extra guests, a full kitchen, and dining table. Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this is your refuge from the workweek. Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

The House on Main Street features original hardwood floors, antique fireplaces, and preserved architectural details. Each room thoughtfully reflects the home's history while offering modern comforts. During Christmas, the farmhouse is adorned with twinkling lights and festive ornaments, adding a magical holiday touch to your stay.

YMCA, library & parks with in walking distance.1.3 miles from Randolph Macom College, 9 miles from King dominion,14 miles to Richmond Raceway, multiple restaurants, coffee shops & stores with-in 3 miles. Peaceful, cozy & quiet neighborhood. Absolutely NO PARTIES, NO "gatherings" NO Smoking, Any evidence of smoking inside will result in an additional $300 fee.

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

Ashland Aerie

Relax in this peaceful, stylish space for one, located north of Richmond. Park in the carport and go upstairs (21 steps) to enjoy privacy, convenience, and safety - with kitchenette, small washer/dryer, smart TV, desk, and exterior cameras. Ashland, less than three miles south, has restaurants (many), grocery stores, laundromats, a movie theater, a public library, churches, a post office, and Randolph Macon College. King’s Dominion and Meadow Event Park are six miles north.

Old Town Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg Battlefield, Spotsylvania Towne Centre, Central Park, and Mary Washington University are minutes away. Lake Anna and King's Dominion are within a short drive. After a fun day, unwind in our peaceful retreat and immerse yourself in nature's tranquility.

This charming 4 bedroom, 4 bath cottage features a great room with a kitchen and spacious entertainment area. The great room opens out to a fully covered large porch and outdoor seating area overlooking the 12th hole of The Golf Club at Mattaponi Springs. Comfortably sleeps up to 16: each bedroom has a pair of queen beds. Each bedroom has its own luxury bathroom. There is a 6B/6b on property as well.
