Guests will have access to over 400 acres of private property to hike, explore, or view the local wildlife.

By day you watch the stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks of the river.

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

Come relax with the family! This one bedroom guest house is just a stones throw from private access to the Illinois river. Located 15 minutes from Tahlequah and 10 minutes from local float venues. Bring Your Own Float Devices and enjoy floating down to Todd Landing public access point, which is about an hour long adventure. Relax on the deck while enjoying the local wildlife! Bald eagles and deer frequent the area.

This cozy cottage is set on five acres of scenic countryside just north-east of Tulsa. I designed and built this 480 square foot home for myself and lived in it happily for five years. But, now I’ve moved on to my next project and I’m eager to share this cottage with my guests! The house gets beautiful light, has a very comfortable bed, and is ideal for single travelers and couples. Take a soak in the tub after a long day on the road and feel your cares melt away. Stay a while, relax.

The Owl's Nest is equipped with everything you need, from a furnished kitchen with fridge, burner, and microwave, to a large deck with a hot tub, firepit, and comfy chairs. Sip your morning coffee in forest serenity, while birds sing and squirrels play. Bring tick repellent from spring to fall. These are Ozark woods! Property not suitable for babies and small children.
