Sweet Sointula Suite

Settle in to enjoy the full kitchen and make the most of the outdoors with a covered patio and propane firepit. The suite is a great base for exploring. Access from a separate driveway, just a 10 minute walk to the ferry and downtown Sointula. Perfect for couples, families, or visiting workers. Comfortably sleeps 4 and the sofa can accommodate a fifth in a pinch. Let us know if you need baby items. We live upstairs (dogs and baby too), and have a great tenant in the other garden level suite.

It is popular with vacationers, writers, researchers as the perfect place to distance yourself from busy lifestyles and noise. You can relax, read, beachcomb, enjoy our Finnish sauna, kayak, canoe or simply enjoy a good book. The cabin is serviced by outdoor SunMar composting toilets and a shared hot shower. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. One of 3 cabins.

Mid-Century Cozy Duplex Home in Port Hardy

Here you’ll be able to relax, enjoy the cozy bright living room with vaulted ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen. The home is located in a neighbourhood just off the highway. Short walk or bike into town. Port Hardy is the town with the closest access to Holberg and Cape Scott. 15 min drive to Storey’s Beach. 1.5 hr drive to the Cape Scott/San Josef Bay trail head. Note: this is the home to two cats which will not be in the space during your stay. They live in the basement suite.

Look out the large window to stunning views of Haddington Island and Malcolm Island. The perfect getaway to enjoy sea kayaking, whale watching, hiking, fishing or island hopping! 5 minutes to Port McNeill, 25 min to Telegraph Cove and 30 min to Port Hardy. In the winter, enjoy skiing or snowshoeing on nearby Mt Cain.

North Island Getaway

This beautiful cottage is situated less than 5 minutes from town with a north facing unobstructed ocean view. Walking distance to the ocean. Permanent residents will welcome you on the property at time of check. Wifi available, in-suite washer and dryer, private parking and RV hookup. This cottage can stay up to 5 guests. The cottage is entirely on its own and not attached to any other dwellings, as seen in the pictures. The rental is of the entire dwelling.

Log Cabins nestled between Quatse River & 138 acre Estuary Wildlife Sanctuary. Just off Highway 19, 1/2 mile north of Bear Cove (BC Ferries) Junction, A Short Walk to Port Hardy. *We are a dog friendly property, please let us know at time of booking if you are bringing your furry friend. A pet fee of $20/per dog, per night is payable at check in. * Please read pet policy and agreement before booking.

Quiet waterfront retreat. Steps to the ocean. Private deck with BBQ and stunning views. Main room has kitchen bar with fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and induction plate; small eating area and queen size bed. Second bedroom has a trundle bed with two singles for those travelling with children.
