River Haus Where Good Times&Great Memories Happen!

The River Haus is located on 59 wooded acres with 1200 ft. of riverfront. The home is tucked back in the woods with a 3/4 mile long private drive, offering complete privacy. There are beautiful views of the St. Croix River from the deck, access to the river, dock, and amazing walking trails. The home is a log- sided cabin from the 1930s maintaining its original charm with vaulted ceilings, wood beams, and wood floors. Near downhill & cross-country skiing at Wild Mt. & William O'Brian State Park

Nordic Lake Cabin : Sauna/Hot Tub/Pontoon Rental

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Your private family lake escape! Fully updated, tranquil and relaxing, yet modern. Relax and enjoy the lake from the deck or picnic areas. Cast a line from the dock or hop in the provided kayaks! Enjoy a warm bath in the new jacuzzi tub & breathtaking double-shower, then cozy up to a big screen movie in front of electric fireplace! BBQ grill included. Large loft w/ 2 queen bed, master bedroom w/ king, downstairs play room. Perfect for priceless family memories on the lake. Fiber internet, too!

Perched high on the banks of the Apple River, this timber-framed cabin offers spectacular views of the river and wildlife. We’ve spotted bald eagles, deer, ducks, geese, great blue heron, golden eagle, fox, beaver, bear and wild turkey from the comfort of the cabin. One hour from the Twin Cities, it’s the perfect cabin getaway for couples, friends, and families. Located on private acreage in Amery, WI you will be near rivers, lakes, hiking trails and all that Northern Wisconsin has to offer.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

A-Frame DGP | a cozy riverside cabin ~1hr from MSP

This retro, but modern A-frame cabin is tucked neatly into a wooded hillside, overlooking a peaceful river, near Menomonie, WI. ~1 hour from the Twin Cities. The space has been revived by lovers of architecture, design and the great outdoors as a quiet getaway for couples or friends looking to slow down and reconnect. Note: we do not allow parties or pets, and the property isn't suitable for children or those with mobility challenges **please read entire description before booking**

Nordlys Lodging Co. - MetalLark Tower

Perched high among the trees with breathtaking views of the hidden lake and wildflower meadows, MetalLark Tower is the perfect getaway. This two-story, 800 sq.ft. cabin has one king bed, one hide-away bunk bed, and one bathroom. We put the living area high up on the second floor to give our guests a bird’s eye view. Floor to ceiling glass brings the outdoors inside, and each season brings its own unique perspective. Staying in MetalLark tower is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

Cozy Cabin on Banks of Willow River (Burkhardt)

Our cozy cottage on the banks of the Willow River is ideally situated for enjoying the Willow River State Park experience while enjoying the comforts of home. Willow Falls is a short walk, and the main entrance is one mile from the front door. The cottage has a unique walk-in shower, luxurious tub, and full kitchen for your own use. The main master bedroom has a queen bed, barnboard walls, large windows, access to back deck & outdoor hottub. Two twin beds in front room sleep 2.

Kamshire Valley (Main Cabin)

25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. The best nature has to offer, bring your camera!
