Flanders Bay Cabins (Cabin 9 - 1BR)

Located on the Schoodic Scenic Byway in Acadia/Bar Harbor region, our rustic pet-friendly 1BR cabins offer spectacular views. Features include one double bed with kitchen and bathroom. Simple, clean accommodations serve as your home base for exploring the beautiful property, shoreline and the bounties of our scenic local region. All cabins come equipped with basic provisions for a comfortable stay. Leave the distractions of modern day behind as you return to the way vacations were meant to be.

Boreal Blueberry Bungalow - Organic Farm Getaway

This sweet bungalow is located on a tucked-away organic farm, 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and directly abutting the Downeast Sunrise Trail and thousands of acres of conservation land. Newly crafted space with pine interior and cork flooring. For folks who appreciate simple living but want a cozy bed! Cot available for third person. Full size mattress, all bedding, stove with oven, pots, pans and dishes, small fridge and sawdust based composting toilet (on back porch)

Treetop Loft at Crabtree Neck Cottages

Pets negotiable. MUST DISCUSS BEFORE YOU REQUEST. Crate trained pets allowed for a fee. DISCOUNT for over 3 nights or dogs under 12 lbs. Ask! Pets come by prior arrangement only. Treetop sleeps 2, or 3 in a pinch. Must discuss well behaved children 6 or older as the deck is high. Owners/guests use garage/laundry below the studio. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.
