Misty Ridge Cottage is on its own private pasture overlooking Bruny Island and the forest. Set within 37 acres you have bush walks and peace. Built with timber off the property, restored to a tranquil oasis. The cottage has cathedral ceilings and is spacious, wake up in the morning to the sunrise and the spectacular view over Bruny. Close to restaurants and vineyards of the area including Peppermint Bay Hotel, Mewstone Winery Grandview cheese Only 12 minutes to Cygnet village and 45 to Hobart.

The house is a spacious architect-designed one-bedroom studio: great for couples enjoying a weekend away or solo adventurers looking to explore the area. Watch the sunrise over the Channel, chill out on the deck in the afternoon sun, then finish the day with a hot outdoor shower under the stars (indoor shower also available). Located in Flowerpot, my place sits between a heritage apple orchard and an organic vineyard, 40 mins from Hobart. The house is NOT on Bruny Island but 10mins drive away

The Stone Cottage - Bruny Island

Nestled within the old growth forest of Simpson's Bay, you'll discover one of the islands unique stone houses. The Cottage is perfectly located a few minutes drive south of Bruny Islands world famous Isthmus. Did we mention that wallabies, including missy, one of the local rare white wallabies visits daily. The cottage is suitable for couples, families, and small groups.
