Takapoto Estate, is a 600 acre property that sits on Lake Karapiro. Welcome to Kiwi Mountain Escape, a small working dry stock cattle farm. During your stay you can expect to see & or hear our animals and the odd farm activity, rural living at its finest. Our cozy, studio-style retreat is designed for comfort. The space includes a queen sized bed, & a bunk set with a double on the bottom & a single on top. you'll find a full kitchen & dining area, separate bathroom & covered outdoor space with table & seating.

Peaceful and centrally located in the rural town of Putaruru. 400m off SH1. "without the noise of SH1" 10 minutes walk from bus drop off. Empty nesters, therefore normally very quiet. 5 min walk to town. Your own space downstairs separate to the main house. Kitchenette!! Means heat and eat. Bottled water, Fridge- freezer, microwave, jug, toaster, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a continental breakfast. Queen bed, 50" TV, plenty of off street .

Quirky, Bespoke Dam Cottage

Ivy cottage is a unique, artistic,quirky, perfectly imperfect, 1946 workingman's cottage in Mangakino. It has a welcoming,relaxing ambiance with its original wooden floors and colorful decor. It's rustic, homely and small. Unfortunately it is not toddler friendly. Breakfast ingredients will be supplied for the first night, including free range eggs when available, homemade muesli, bread and condiments. Tea ,coffee and milk are also supplied.

You need to have a break on your way north or south? Rest up at our brand new self-contained unit in quiet, rural setting, just outside Tirau. Only 25 minutes to Hobbiton, 15 min. to amazing Waihou Blue Springs and 2 minutes to Tirau, with unique coffee shops and lovely boutique stores. We have just moved in next door ourselves, and are still finishing the landscaping around our lovely home. Come and repose!
