Relax in casual comfort at the beach. Formerly the popular Bird's nest on Rosetta the accommodation has been modified and expanded to include a open plan lounge/kitchenette/dining space on the ground floor. Enjoy a morning coffee on the deck or amble down to the popular Rosetta cafe. The property has its own beach access so you can meander down a grassy path to a quiet beach spot away from the madding crowds to sip a glass of wine and watch a stunning sunset with a backdrop of Kapiti Island.

Sunset cottage Paekakariki - sand, sea and sunsets

This one-bedroom seaside cottage is directly across the road from Paekakariki Beach and is the perfect location for those who enjoy beach walks, swims and surfing. The Escarpment track (Te Araroa trail), Whareroa Farm, surf club, and village cafes are all close by. The cottage's west-facing aspect provides great sun and incredible sunsets. The cottage is fully self-contained and has dedicated off-street parking. The owner's residence is on the same site, but both are separate and private.

Charming self-contained upstairs suite, full of light, with lovely outlook on our beautiful seaside village. Five minutes walk to beach and Queen Elizabeth Park, a wonderful forest and dune environment great for walks, biking, picnics. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax. Bach with amazing panoramic views over Cook Strait & Palliser Bay. You won't want to leave. Rate is not for the whole house, please enter the correct number of people when booking. (Christmas, New Years & Big 3 bookings must be booked direct, due to restrictions we encounter)

The Wanderer - Lake Ferry Pride - with Woodburner

Forget your worries in this spacious space. Four gorgeous bedrooms. Two newly appointed bathrooms, hand basins, showers and toilets. The second also features a washing machine. Well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Recently renovated throughout - the lighting is stunning. Freestanding woodburning fireplace to keep you warm and toasty. Large TV. Additional accommodation available on request (sleepout with 4 double beds).

Lovely sunny property 2 mins walk to the sea where there is great fishing and diving. Great decks for relaxing the sun. Property has a queen sized bed and child sized bunk bed in the bedroom. Please note bunks are suitable for children only. Lounge has pull out double sofa bed. This property can sleep 4 adults and 2 children. Guests will need to provide their own sheets, pillow slips and towels. Blankets and duvets provided.

'Funky Retro Caboose'

The little Caboose, 9 sqm, and kitchen/bathroom, 5 sqm, on our property are a much loved get-away surrounded by native vegetation. Idyllic, but also quite rustic: you have to cross the deck to the bathroom (amazing shower!) and kitchen, whatever the weather.🙂  I teach cello and you may hear this at times, as well as plenty of birds. A 5 min stroll to Queen Elisabeth Park and the beach. Private gate and on-street-parking.

The Beach Pod + Luxury Outdoor Stone Bath

Welcome to The Beach Pod - your own 'tiny house' studio in the corner of our back garden. Outside is a large luxury stone bath in a quiet private garden setting, and there are two areas with a table and chairs to enjoy the morning and afternoon sun. We have a two night minimum stay. We also offer a guaranteed late checkout of 2pm on the day you leave.... so you can sleep-in and relax.... there is no rush to go :-)

Kakapo Kabin - prime location.

New purpose built studio. Clean, fresh and light, double glazing and insulation. Private with own entrance and off street parking. Popular Raumati Beach ( safe swimming, surf casting, water sports) is down a shared driveway one minute away. There is a small deck and sunny outdoor seating area. The studio is accessed up stairs so not suitable for guests with limited physical ability. Short walk to Raumati Village.
