1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

NOTE: Lake Sinclair drawdown will start 10/25/25 and lake refill will commence 12/1/25. Lake refill is a very slow process and lake level is still low. Lakefront manufactured home on secluded cove on Lake Sinclair. Two kayaks provided for a fun time on the lake! 3 bedroom – 2 bathroom house with 30 foot screened in deck and 2 additional decks with full sun. Renovated 1928 cottage on a former asylum campus

Into the macabre? Stay on the campus of what once was the largest mental asylum in the world. Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's cottage situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. There are no tours inside buildings.

Eatonton is not far away with nice restaurants. The Crooked Creek Marina is close by if you are bringing your own boat. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking pans, etc. Keurig and regular coffee pot. Enjoy the fire pit, fishing, canoeing and hot tub - at our quiet Hidden Cottage.
