Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Watch the satellites, shooting stars and seasonal northern lights from the privacy of an open campsite. Rustic camping; price does not include propane or services. Propane could be included at an additional cost, as well as a generator. Beautiful view of the Red Deer River and rolling hills. No livestock; pets allowed. Room on site for your RV, Trailer or Tents. Fire ban currently in place.

The Western Monarch Campground is located on the Red Deer River near East Coulee, 25 minutes from Drumheller. You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place in a picturesque setting. The grounds were a former Miner Townsite. Enjoy the Sunset while eating a picnic dinner. (Fire ban currently in place) Gaze at the stars and find satellites crossing, as well as shooting stars. There are Portapots on site as well as a tiny indoor bathroom.

Take a walk around our village and see all it has to offer. We are located off 3rd St. E. at the southeast end of the village. We live in a new build - a bi-level/raised ranch. I have 2 rooms. Each room can be locked for privacy and security. They are located downstairs with a queen bed and a large east facing window. Basement is self-contained with a shared bathroom and kitchenette.
