Bug light park is also within walking distance to the house. Portland downtown and Old Port are only 3 miles away, and the famous Greenbelt trail for walking and biking is across the street, as is the local bus stop.

Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A one-minute walk from The Maine Hideaway's doorstep brings you into the historic village of Brooklin, Maine and a close walk to Wooden Boat School. Our home was built in 1874, we have multiple guest rooms, all with incredibly comfortable mattresses and modern furnishings. We serve a continental breakfast Tue-Sat and hot breakfast on Sun & Mon.

Guest room in a private home

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We offers 4 apartments to rent by the night, or week in the summer (Breakfast for additional fee). Long term September-May for the traveling professional (no breakfast). Each unit has 1-2 bedrooms, full kitchen and private bathroom. All situated on the norther head of Messalonskee Lake. Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets from your private balcony. This charming 1850's renovated property you do not want to miss.

Rustic Cabin on Maine Farm

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful farm. The cabin has a great connection to nature. It is a quiet, cozy and romantic place. The cabin has a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and a double bed in the loft. The couch also folds-out to double bed in the sitting room. When reserving the cabin, please register all people over 2 years old. The cabin does not have any heat, but we provide loads of comfy blankets and warm tea to make sure you are comfortable.

This room, Limoges, with its own private bathroom, is within walking distance from the downtown shopping district where you'll find retail and restaurants. There is a shared living, dining room and study, to relax with a book, play a game with your companion or meet some of the other guests from the four other rooms. Built in 1849, Pres du Port has been in our family for over 50 years. Perched above the harbor within Stonington village, each room is unique and the views are breathtaking. Walk to everything in town or relax in a rocking chair on the porch. Cute and very cozy small room. Beau Pres has a full bed and shared bath. The bath is not ensuite but just a few steps down the hall. Good for the single traveler or couple.
