A Place in the Sun

"A Place in the Sun" is an ideal spot for a couple or the solo St. John adventurer!. This studio apartment is located on the middle level of the main house, and just above a beautifully landscaped hillside and large pool deck. The property consists of an owners apartment on the upper level and on the middle level there are two beautifully renovated independent studio suites, "A Place in the Sun" and "Suite Papaya". They each have their own well-appointed kitchenette, dining and sitting area.

“Sugarbird Suite” is a spacious 1-BR apartment with gorgeous ocean views of St. Thomas. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, the 600 sqft apartment makes up the entire lower level of our home “Hummingbird House”, has been freshly renovated & has a private entrance. It’s a quick drive to downtown Cruz Bay & North Shore Beaches, and hikers can access the National Park Trails from our house. Expect lovely sunsets, morning rainbows and visits from local Bananaquits (Sugarbirds) and Hummingbirds!

Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Suite Papaya is a beautifully renovated and well appointed studio apartment located on a shared outdoor estate overlooking Coral Bay area of St. John. Just a few minutes drive to either the town of Coral Bay (shopping/dining) or several beautiful national park beaches and trails and 10 minutes from St. John’s world renown North Shore beaches. The two units share the same level, each have a well-appointed kitchenette, dining and sitting area

They are in a separate building away from the main villa where the owners and host live. This is our upper guest room, we call La Mer. The view from your outdoor seating area overlooking the bay is breathtaking. We have our own path to a private pebble/coral beach below. We are only 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay.

Calm Caribbean views on St John

This is a 1 bedroom with private bath and deck connected to our home. There is a mini fridge in the room, but main house kitchen use is available by request. Please feel free to join us for coffee in the mornings. Yoga and massage also available on the property. There is still minor construction being done on other parts of the house due to the Cat 5 hurricanes from 2017. Overall the space is quiet, private and has a beautiful view.
