There is plenty to do nearby as you will be 8 minutes from Angola and 20 minutes from Auburn. Take a ride on the Nickel Plate Road #765 steam train! You will love the large yard, fire pit, deck, and basketball hoop. Kayaks, paddle boat, private dock, fishing poles, and small row boat are available for you to use.

Long Lake Cottage

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Lake front home in Angola, Indiana. Easy access to 80/90 toll road and I-69. Minutes away from Pokagon State Park, where you can take hell's point challenge and toboggan, multiple wineries, and great restaurants. About 1 hr. from Notre Dame University. The lake house is 30 ft. from the second basin of Crooked Lake. Crooked Lake offers great fishing! 2 adult Viper kayaks are available for use at the waterfront. From Memorial Day to Labor day there is a 17ft. water trampoline.

Step outside to the spacious deck to use the gas grill or head down to the 40' of waterfront to enjoy floating on rafts, fishing, or enjoy the available row boat & kayaks. Bring your own water toys to tie up to the private dock and small watercraft lift or rent a pontoon from a recommended marina.

Beautifully renovated lakefront cottage on the shores of Lake James with gorgeous sunset views, a sandy crystal clear swim area and dock space for your boat. Well appointed Chef’s kitchen stocked with all of your culinary needs. We offer private cooking classes and during the summer historical boat tours on Lake James. While this could just be a cozy place to crash for a night, it can also be a private cooking class followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on Lake James.

The Hilltop Hideaway on Little Long Lake

Book early to get the best summer weeks. This is a small, cozy cottage, with a huge view. Enjoy your morning coffee relaxing on the deck while watching the sunrise over the lake. The cottage has a full kitchen, dining area, living room with a sleeper sofa, two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a full/twin bunkbed), and a full bath. The maximum number of guests is 5. This is a true tiny house, but when you are at the lake you are there to enjoy the lake.

Or stay here and enjoy the kayaks and pier included with your stay, but shared with the other cottage. Cook up a delicious dinner in our full kitchen or outdoor grill.
