Enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the porch watching the deer, or gather around the fire-pit under the oak trees at night. The Gumbo Getaway is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a king bed and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Our cabin was built in 2021. We welcome our guests to come enjoy our cozy spot in the hill country with the convenience of staying only 15 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg. **Guests are permitted to walk the road starting at the cattle guard entrance and ending at The Lagniappe Lodge. (The LL has a big rock sign out front.) Do not walk past the Lagniappe Lodge.**

Among the Texas Stars is a great little cabin located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries. The house offers great views, hot tub, bubble tub, and a fully equipped kitchen. While this cabin is private, there are two other guest-homes nearby. Over 300 acres surround the house, making it great for walking and enjoying nature. Being a working ranch guests will see horses and cattle during a stay.
