Our Island house is located 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I help with the admin of his holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.

Fisherman's Cottage
Welcome to fisherman's cottage: a calm space great for families or couples. A former cow byre built in 1850, the cottage is tucked down a lane out of the worst of the winter storms. So whilst the cottage doesn’t have sea views, it overlooks our little woodland nature garden. Just five minutes from Stornaway ferry terminal and bus station, and under ten minutes by car from the airport, this cosy cottage is a great base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

Thule House (Central Stornoway)
This duplex apartment in central Stornoway is perfect for groups - up to 4 guests can be accommodated comfortably in this bright and spacious 2 bedroom property. Situated just off the main street, it is the perfect location to explore our town and boasts views over the Lews Castle. It is above Store 67, our local outdoors shop, which also has a holistic treatment room on site- so you can book yourself to a relaxing massage to complete your holiday!

Cute detached 1 bed cottage located on the Island of Lewis, in the fabulous Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Situated on the A866 in a quiet village through the ‘Point Peninsula’, a few minutes away from the famous Tiumpan Head for whale watching & only a 10-15 minute journey from Stornoway airport and ferry port. Ideally situated as a base for exploring the whole of the island whilst still close to the amenities in town.

Rosewell, tranquil island escape
