The lake is home to eagles, herons, geese, ospreys and fish! You will see kayakers out there fishing! Stowe Mt and Smuggler’s Notch are both nearby. Breweries, art galleries, restaurants are close by. You can walk or bike to the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail from our home. Our shed is available for storing your bikes, kayaks or skis.

Waterbury Village Apartment

With the back country and the front town, travelers can settle in on the deck to enjoy the views, or set out to explore a happening downtown-just one block away. This second floor space is private, light filled, and quiet. Please note, we were previous Super Hosts before Covid. We're getting back into hosting with an even better apartment (more space, and two bedrooms!) We're not absentee investors running an AirBnb business; we live in an adjacent apartment and enjoy welcoming guests!

In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as mountain bike trails. 5 mi from a beach where you can rent canoes/kayaks/paddle boards. In the winter months you will need to take a 50 min detour around the mountain to Stowe. Enjoy cooking in a warm, well appointed kitchen.
