Sætún is a stylish house about 100 meters from the ocean with a excellent view over the ocean and the mountains of Snæfellsnes peninsula. The picturesque Kirkjufell mountain is framed into the living room large window. This is a excellent place to relax and enjoy nature and to use as a base for day trips around Snæfellsnes. The house is placed in a birds nesting area with a vivid birdlife. Seals are regularly seen in the 3 minute away beach. The house itself is well equipped with big veranda.

Our peaceful, orca-themed apartment offers a spectacular view over Grundarfjörður and famous Mt. Kirkjufell. In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies. The apartment is detached from the main building and includes a well-equipped kitchen (yes, there's coffee and tea), a private bathroom, as well as comfortable beds and a seating area for two people. Our beautiful house is in the center of the old town in Stykkishólmur. It is located within a walking distance from all of the fine restaurant the town has to offer. It is located 50m (160 ft) from the Water Museum that offers spectacular view over the town, harbor, mountains and the islands that the fjord is famous for. The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.
