Located on the Schoodic Scenic Byway in Acadia/Bar Harbor region, our rustic pet-friendly 1BR cabins offer spectacular views. Features include one double bed with kitchen and bathroom. Simple, clean accommodations serve as your home base for exploring the beautiful property, shoreline and the bounties of our scenic local region. All cabins come equipped with basic provisions for a comfortable stay. Leave the distractions of modern day behind as you return to the way vacations were meant to be.

Little Lodge - Centrally located in Downeast Maine

Great family vacation base for a Downeast Maine Adventure. Two story, newly renovated, four season cabin with 1000 square feet of living space sits in a wooded cove off an easily-accessible rural paved road. Centrally located between the two units of Acadia National Park (Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula) and the beautiful, quiet lakes and mountains of the Donnell Pond Maine State Preserve. Although not on the water, there is access to our private Taunton Bay shore, 3.5 miles away.

Nestled in beautiful Hemlock grove is this cozy cabin. Its equiped with all the necessities of home to make your stay comfortable. Guests will have private access to Scammons Pond, also known as, R. Lyle Frost Managment Area. Its a fun place to kayak and fish. From the cabin its about a 45 minute drive to Acadia National Park or Schoodic Point. Besides Acadia, there is local hiking, nearby shopping, local restaurants, the Sunrise Trail, and other Maine adventure just waiting to be explored.

SMITTEN at The Appleton Retreat is a contemporary near off grid cabin that offers all of the comforts of home in total privacy, including excellent WIFI. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting seven unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1,300 acre preserve and Newbert pond. “Moose” cabin is one of four beautifully decorated new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Two kayaks per cabin are provided for your enjoyment. Sit in the screened porch and listen to nature or head into Acadia National Park to explore. Relax with the whole family for a few nights or more.
