The Sundays River is navigable for +- 22 km, passing through the quaint villages of Cannonvillle & Colchester before meandering into the Indian Ocean.

Wild Olive is in a conservancy on a cattle farm 12 km from Graaff Reinet, through the National Park. Recently restored, it's an ideal base for walking, photography, mountain biking etc. Fully self-catering, 1 double bed, bathroom, aircon, fireplace, plunge pool, bbq. AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS FROM OCTOBER -APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.
