Luxury Cabin for 4 with Lake Access

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acres with 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Linens are included with this cabin (bedding, pillows, towels, wash clothes, soaps, shampoo, etc.)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil waterfront getaway. Enjoy lovely historic Fort Hunter Mansion and Park, just a short walk away with a beautiful view of the Rockville Bridge, the worlds longest stone arch bridge along the Susquehanna River ! You will be just a few hundred yards away from the Fort Hunter boat launch where fisherman from all over come to enjoy the muskie and walleye fishing. We have trails in the woods nearby and around our meadow that lies in front of the farmhouse. The historic charm of the original two story farmhouse has been restored while still allowing for modern bathrooms and kitchen space. There is a first floor master suite with en suite bath for those who want to avoid the old staircase. Come and enjoy.

Be a part of history while staying on this waterfront property of the Ironmaster's Mansion. The two-story stone guesthouse, steps away from the mansion, was built in the year 1715. The timeless character of the home, paired with the peaceful property creates an escape that feels like you've gone back in time, all while being only 20 minutes outside of Lancaster City. The mansion was home to the first treasurer of the US, General Edward Hand’s daughter, and President Buchanan’s fiance.
