The cabin is located on a beautiful spring fed lake (North Manistique Lake) offering clear waters and sandy bottom; perfect for swimming, boating & fishing. The home comes with a large patio, grill and outdoor fire pit. The modernized cabin has huge floor to ceiling windows in the main room featuring the kitchen, living room and fire place. Enjoy this secluded cabin anytime of year. Located near trail 8 /H-58 for day trips in any direction. Cabin is set up with 2 Queens and accommodates 4 people comfortably. Two propane fireplaces & front room with beautiful view of private lake. Propane Weber for grilling , hot shower , stocked kitchen, washer and dryer. Fire pit for bonfire with wood for purchase on site. TV with HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Most likely will see and or hear a wild animal.

Lake retreat on Indian Lake, Manistique MI

This cabin offers a perfect sense of tranquility, where you feel like nature and wildlife are your only neighbors. Forget your worries in this spacious and beautiful space. It has the feel of being alone on the lake, very secluded at the end of Wawaushnosh Drive. Rainey Reserve is just at the end of the road, and Smith Creek is just around the corner, a beautiful serene place to kayak. The kitchen is fully furnished.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
