The entrance features historic stone paving once used for Kyoto’s streetcars. The flooring showcases traditional “Naguri” hand-carved textures. We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

Just 6 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. Tsukihi House Kyoto is one of the traditional machiyas (townhouses) in Kyoto, built before 1945. The architectural design was carried out by Shigenori Uoya at the Shigenori Uoya Architects and Associates in Kyoto, and a full renovation was carried out while inheriting the original elements of Kyoto-style machiya.
