Lunar Suite at Arandu Food Forest

Less than a mile from the Peavy Arboretum gateway to McDonald Forest and an easy 15 minute drive to Corvallis and OSU, this stand-alone guest suite offers the peace of the outdoors with the close proximity of the city. With a studio style bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and off street parking, guests have the privacy and freedom to come and go as they please. Entire Studio -Country setting, quiet and private

Studio has own entrance and is separate from the main house. Studio has its own private bathroom with a shower, and laundry facilities, electric heat in the winter. Air conditioning only in the sleeping area of the bnb in the summer. There is a food prep area with a large sink. There is no oven but several small appliances available for meal prep.Studio sits on 6 acres with nearby hiking trails or towns. Would be nice for the traveling contractor who needs a room for their current local job.

Spacious Farm Garden Loft with View

This spacious 1000 Sq ft guest suite with private bath has flexible furnishings that can be set up to create a cozy movie/popcorn night or open up for morning yoga. Hiking trails leave from your door into an expansive park. We are an urban farm garden and have chickens and goats. Visit on Tuesday evenings (May - Oct) to enjoy a local farmers market on the property. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. We respect diversity and inclusion. The living room has a sofa bed that sleeps two while the private bedroom has a queen size bed. Gorgeous tile in the bathroom, and a washer/dryer for your use.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
